Conveniently located near San Antonio Bay, Bay Flats Lodge provides access to over 30 miles of unspoiled flats, shorelines, and back lakes near Matagorda Island and the Guadalupe River Delta. With flexible stay options, reasonable rates, hunting add-ons, and easy flights into any of three Texas airports, it’s an ideal destination for anyone looking to experience a unique saltwater venue with thrilling sight-fishing opportunities that’s available right in our own backyard.

The program centers around two anglers sharing a flats skiff with a professional guide. Single guiding is available for and upcharge. Runtimes are typically 30-45 minutes to the first fishing grounds. Guests will take turns on the bow as your guide poles the flats in search of tailing fish. Wade fishing can also be accommodated to some degree but we like to set interested up with the right guide in advance of your arrival.
