Australia & New Zealand, 2026 — The RISE Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) returns to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 with a brand-new lineup of the world’s best fly fishing films. Screening from August through October 2026, the tour brings fly fishing culture, storytelling, and community to the big screen across both countries.
More than a fishing film, F3T explores the culture that surrounds life on the water. Spanning remote wilderness locations and familiar local fisheries, the films reflect the many ways people connect to fly fishing, whether through exploration, tradition, or the simple pull of being outdoors.
From saltwater flats to alpine rivers and backcountry streams, the 2026 program showcases a diverse mix of stories from around the globe. Featuring passionate anglers, unique characters, and unforgettable landscapes, each film captures the essence of fly fishing as more than a sport. It is a way of life shaped by people, place, and experience.
Each screening is more than just a film night. Events are hosted in collaboration with local fishing communities and bring together anglers, storytellers, and outdoor enthusiasts for a shared experience. Audiences can expect a relaxed, social atmosphere with opportunities to connect, along with prizes and giveaways from leading industry partners. Every stop on the tour is designed to feel like a true community event.
The Australian tour will screen from 19 August to October 2026, followed by New Zealand screenings from 2 September to late September 2026, with select additional screenings to be announced. Events will take place in cinemas, theatres, and community venues nationwide.
